Editorial Expertise. Operational Thinking.
I’ve spent my career improving both content itself and the systems that move it from idea to publication.
I’ve spent my career improving both content itself and the systems that move it from idea to publication.
My career began with the work itself: researching, writing, copyediting, proofreading, fact-checking, and preparing content for publication. That foundation taught me that strong content depends on more than good writing. It depends on clear standards, thoughtful review, reliable processes, and people who know what needs to happen next.
As my career progressed, my responsibilities expanded from improving individual pieces of content to improving the systems around them. I’ve managed writers, established editorial standards, coordinated contributors and subject-matter experts, managed and supported content migrations, organized content through taxonomy, managed production timelines and stakeholder handoffs, and helped teams create more efficient review and publishing workflows.
That work has taken me across enterprise technology, education, marketing, and regulated consumer content. At Twilio, stronger editorial processes contributed to 30% fewer revision cycles. At Digital Realty, better production coordination helped reduce content turnaround from approximately two months to as little as 2–3 weeks. At Franklin University, I contributed editorial review and QA to a team responsible for migrating more than 551 online courses.
Today, I bring those experiences together as a content and editorial operations leader. I’m most effective where editorial judgment and operational thinking intersect: building and improving the structure that helps teams produce accurate, useful, consistent content—and helping that content move through complex organizations more effectively.
I look for the underlying problem first—whether it’s an unclear standard, a difficult handoff, an inefficient review cycle, or content that simply isn’t serving its audience.
Good workflows create structure without creating unnecessary friction. I focus on processes that make ownership clearer, collaboration easier, and quality more consistent.
I use content platforms, search tools, and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and decision-making—not as substitutes for editorial judgment, accuracy, or human review.
